Whether or not it leads to another season with the Broncos remains to be seen. The New Orleans Times Picayune reports that Manning has started workouts with a trainer in his hometown. Report: Peyton Manning to resume workouts, will play in 2015
According to Jeff Duncan of the Times-Picayune,Manning will resume his strength and conditioning with coach Mackie Shilstone this week. This leads us to believe that backup quarterback Brock Osweiler will be waiting on the sideline for at least another year while Manning takes the front and center. Per Duncan, Manning still plans to speak with the Broncos general manager John Elway before making any type of public statement regarding his intentions. Elway had stated last month that the Broncos would like for Manning to return despite a late-season decline in production and a divisional playoff loss to the Indianapolis Colts. If Mannings slump was mostly due to a thigh injury that he was trying to keep under wraps, then it would appear the franchise still has faith in his arm strength moving forward. If Manning makes a go of it for one more year, hell likely rack up the 2,148 passing yards he needs to break former quarterback Brett Favres NFL record within the first half of the 2015 season.

When I slammed him I thought it was over, he said. The move also impressed the coach. He had me threw me like a sack of potatoes, and I was like Wow! But Antonio and the crowd of players were in for a surprise. Something happened and Coach snapped, and drove him into the ground. Julian felt the change too. It was even until I slammed him, then he started going hard. Brazil ultimately won the match. It was a tough match, he said.

James Andrews performed the operation Tuesday in Pensacola, Florida. The Tigers announced last week that Martinez had torn his medial meniscus during offseason workouts, but they now say he should resume full activity in four to six weeks. ''This is the best-case scenario that we could have hoped for,'' trainer Kevin Rand said. Martinez hit .335 with 32 home runs and 103 RBIs in 2014, helping the Tigers hold off Kansas City for their fourth consecutive AL Central title.
