A female patron told police a man attacked her by pulling her from a workout machine and wrestling her to the ground where he attempted to sexually assault her. She fought him off and ran. He fled, but was caught two days later not far from the workout facility. Greg Cenatiempo, one of the owners of the 22 club chain, said someone held the door open and the suspect managed to get in without swiping a membership pass card. Management added an overnight desk person to the staff at the Brentwood club in the 5300 block of Muscik Memorial Drive to improve security. Some members said there are new signs in the facility emphasizing the rule not to let anyone in if they dont swipe their scan cards. The club is located in an office and retail complex just west of Hanley Rd and south of I-64/40. It is within walking distance of a MetroLink station.
